Evelyn Mc Guiness

Evelyn M. McGuiness, 99, of Seymour, passed away Wednesday morning, April 4, 2018, at Good Shepherd Nursing Home. She was born July 18, 1918, in Freedom, daughter of the late Peter and Catherine (Arnoldussen) Timmers.

On June 20, 1941, she was united in marriage to Richard McGuiness. He preceded her in death on March 6, 1999.

Evelyn was employed with Marshal Fields Department Store in Chicago until her retirement.

She was a member of St. John Catholic Church, Seymour.

Evelyn is survived by her siblings: Rose Hill, Seymour; Peter (Rose) Timmers, Chicago, Shirley Hirshman, Milwaukee; sister-in-law, Marcella (Timmers) Prahl, nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, sisters: Leone (Art) Laskowski, Lorraine (Wilmer) Jens, Verla (Henry) Riegel, Esther (Lloyd) Kraft, and Eileen (Carl) Dahlen; brother, Gordon Timmers; brothers-in-law, Ronald Hirshman and Harold Hill.

Friends may call at St. John Catholic Church, Seymour on Saturday, April 7, 2018, from 9:30 am until the funeral mass at 11:00 am with Father Brian Belongia and Deacon Rich Matuszak officiating. Entombment will take place in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton.
