Eunice Uhlenbrauck

Eunice M. Uhlenbrauck, 89, of Black Creek, passed away at her home Thursday evening, November 8, 2018, surrounded by her family at her home. She was born in Appleton on May 24, 1929, daughter of the late Emil and Mattie (Pingel) Rahmlow.
She graduated from Appleton High School (now Appleton West) in 1946 and then was the Wilson School secretary until her marriage to Marvin Uhlenbrauck on April 30, 1949. They had 68 years together. He preceded her in death October 24, 2017. They purchased the Uhlenbrauck farm and operated it until 1990, when they sold it to their son, Reed.
Eunice also worked at Sherry Motors Ford dealership and for many years at Schenck and Associates as an accountant until her retirement in 1993.
She enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening, bowling, dancing, playing sheepshead, bus trips, quilting for family, friends and church, and family gatherings at their home.
Eunice was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Black Creek, participating in their choir and the Ladies Aid for many years.
She is survived by her daughter, Maxine (Rev. Donald) Thompson, Mukwonago; son, Reed (Renee) Uhlenbrauck, Black Creek; son-in-law, Daniel (Carol) Kolosovsky, Greenfield; 12 grandchildren: Andrew (Maggie) Kolosovsky, Mequon; Katie Kolosovsky, Taos, NM; Carrie (Greg) Beyer, Wauwatosa; Jonathan (Susie) Kolosovsky, Itasca, IL; Emily (Gus) Beier, Menasha; Matthew Thompson, Hales Corners; Rebecca (Jose) Palacios, Watertown, WI; Kristin (Rev. Clark) Schultz, Johnson Creek; Nathan (Christina) Thompson, Louisburg, KS; Nicole (Michael) Zuiches, Nichols; Ryan Uhlenbrauck, Black Creek; Courtney (Nicholas) Wolfgram, Black Creek; and 26 great-grandchildren; three nieces and one nephew.
Eunice was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Diane Kolosovsky; granddaughter, Tara Lee Uhlenbrauck; and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Lucille (Norbert) Springstroh.
The Christian funeral for Eunice will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Black Creek on Monday, November 12, 2018, with visitation from 9:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am.
