Edmund Miller

Edmund "Ed" Miller, age 84, passed away at home on Wednesday, September 10, 2025.

Ed was born on October 24, 1940 to Ben and Agnes (Dumke) Miller, growing up on the farm in Gillett, WI. He graduated from Gillett High School, then served in the US Army in Washington DC where he played saxophone in the Army Band. After service he was a painter in the construction trades, had a hobby farm, and was involved in County Government, especially Conservation locally and on the national level.

He enjoyed coaching sports, camping, hunting and fishing, and sharing these with his children. Country Music as well as Gospel Music were treasured.

Ed was united in marriage to Marcia Noble on August 25, 2001. They enjoyed their animals on their hobby farm south of Seymour. Ed and Marcia were also recent snowbirds, and enjoyed their winters in FL.

He is survived by his wife, Marcia Noble; son, Ed (Lisa) Miller; daughters, Corina (Don) Case, and, Pam Miller; grandchildren: Kenya Miller, Keon Miller, Raymond Miller; Justin (Ally) Case, Nathan (Jessica) Case, Daniel Case; Brody (Cassandra) Miller; great-grandchildren: Madelyn Case; Rhettlee Miller, Ryker Miller; brother Del (Connie) Miller. He is further survived by their children's mother, Betty Miller, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; step-daughter, Colleen Birch; brother and sister-in-law, Vern and Sandy Miller

Funeral services for Ed will be held at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, on Saturday September 20th at 2:00 PM with Pastor David Rinck officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 12 Noon until the time of services. Ed will be laid to rest privately at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Ed's name.
