ROHLOFF, DOROTHY
Dorothy Rohloff, age 88, of Black Creek passed away Tuesday evening, February 5, 2008 at St. Josephs Nursing Home in New London. She was born June 1, 1919 daughter of the late Hugo and Lillian (Peotter) Beyer. Dorothy was united in marriage to Earl Rohloff on December 31, 1938 in Black Creek and they celebrated 50 years of marriage before Earl's death in September of 1994. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Black Creek. In earlier years she was a Sunday School Teacher, choir member, council member, Women's Guild and also a member of Black Creek American Legion Women's Auxiliary. For many years she enjoyably drove school bus for the Black Creek Grade School.

Dorothy is survived by: her children: a son, Larry (Janet) Rohloff, Black Creek; and a daughter, Judy (Layne) Carlson, Hortonville; six grandchildren: Jeffrey (Cindy) Rohloff, Black Creek; David Rohloff, Black Creek; Michael (Connie) Rohloff, Seymour; Tonia Carlson, Grand Junction, CO; Chad (Lisa) Carlson, Freedom; and Keri (Agustin) Duenas, Black Creek; great-grandchildren: Brandon and Trevor Rohloff, Sawyer, Carter and Delaney Carlson; great-great grandchildren: Nathaniel and Kassidy Duenas; one brother, Marvin (Kathryn) Beyer, Marshfield; extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by: her husband Earl; her parents and two brothers, Lavern and Raymond Beyer.

Friends may call at St. John's United Church of Christ, Black Creek on Saturday, February 9, 2008, from 9 A.M. until funeral services at 11 A.M. with Rev. Don Baumann officiating. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park. Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour assisted the family. Online condolences may be made at www.muehlboettcher.com .
