Donna Walker

April 27, 1944 — June 13, 2023

Donna Lee Mc Ilnay Walker, 79, formerly of Seymour, joined her Heavenly Father on Tuesday morning, June 13, 2023, at The Pines Post-Acute and Memory Care in Clintonville. She was born April 27, 1944, to the late Ralph and Vera (Buck) Mc Ilnay, at the family farm near Iola/Scandinavia.

Donna was baptized into her Christian family in November 5, 2018, by Pastor Natalie Kramer and was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour. She was a writer at heart, and enjoyed sending and receiving letters with those children she connected with through Lord's House of Hope; Donna was known to them as "Grandma Donna." She leaves many family members and friends who enjoyed her gift of story telling and humor. Donna was an animal lover, and she especially loved cats; she was deeply saddened when her beloved Rascal was no longer able to be with her due to declining health.

Donna was a cook for various restaurants in Brown and Waupaca Counties for twenty years. She found her calling as a bar manager for friends in Oneida for ten years. Donna was known as "ma" to her customers. Thanks to the people who made those years very happy; Donna never forgot any of you!

In accordance with Donna's wishes, private graveside services will take place at Elm Lawn Cemetery in Rose Lawn, Pastor Ty Stoneburner officiating.

Donna was very grateful for the care she received the last several years, especially the staff of The Pines and ProMedica Hospice. Also, a heartfelt thanks to Donna's granddaughter, Maryn Sjoores Flores, and grandson, Sam Allen Walker, for maintaining their connection to Donna. Her final message to all - "my heart is yours now and beyond."
