Donald "Donnie" L. Kropp, 69 of Isaar, passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 unexpectedly following a brief hospital stay. He was born on March 12, 1957 son of the late Lloyd and Verona (Schmit) Kropp.
Donnie was a lifelong resident of the Isaar area and a 1975 graduate of Seymour High School. He went onto Fond du lac technical college, where he earned his cheesemaker's license. After a brief career in cheese making, he returned to Northeast Wisconsin Technical College to earn a degree as a machinist and spent many years working at Seymour Machine.
On September 22nd, 1978 he was united in marriage to Cindy Koehler. Together they built a life and would have celebrated 48 years of marriage this year.
He remained a lifelong and active member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church. Donnie had many talents and passions. He enjoyed gardening, canning, and tending to his flowers, and he took pride in his homemade tomato juice, salsa, and freezer corn. He was well know for continuing the family tradition of making chicken booyah for special occasions. Every spring, he looked forward to shopping with his sister, Germaine.
An avid snowmobiler and Harley rider, Donnie was an active member of the Isaar Trail Riders Snowmobile Club and spent many years with the Magnetos Motorcycle Club, where he earned a lifetime membership. He also dedicated time to maintaining local snowmobile trails.
Above all, Donnie cherished time with his grandchildren. He loved supporting them in their activities, especially traveling to dirt bike races for his grandson, where he was affectionately known as the "walking wounded" due to his tendency to crash anything on wheels or tracks. He also treasured time spent with his granddaughters, always making them smile laugh.
When he wasn't with family, Donnie could often be found at a local establishment enjoying a Friday night fish or chicken dinner, along with his favorite drink- a lime vodka and Diet 7up.
Donnie is survived by his wife, Cindy; son, Devin (Amy) Kropp; daughter, Dana Kropp (Fiancée Lucas Montour); grandchildren: Kollin, Aubree, and Lilian; and his 2 cats.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded by brother and sister-in-law, Gary (Doris) Kropp; niece Mary Kropp, sister and brother-in-law, Germaine (Richard) Hock, father-in-law Melvin Koehler, and sister-in-law Barbara Koehler.
Visitation for Donnie will take place at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Sunday, March 29, 2026 from 4:00 pm until the parish prayer service at 7:00 pm. On Monday, March 30, 2026 the visitation will continue from 9:30 am until 10:45 am at St. Sebastian Catholic Church in Isaar. The funeral mass will be held at 11:00 am with Deacon Rich Matuszak and Fr. Sengole Dass officiating. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in Donnie's memory are appreciated to be contributed to his favorite causes.
A special thank you to the ICU staff, doctors at Bellin hospital, and Seymour rescue squad for their care and support of Donnie and his family.
