Doloris Kuehne

Doloris (nee Ciesielczyk) Kuehne, 95, of Seymour, passed away Monday morning, January 8, 2018 at her home. She was born April 2, 1922, daughter of the late Xavier and Rose (Adamski) Ciesielczyk.

Prior to beginning her family, she worked as a bookkeeper at Pauly Cheese in Seymour.

On July 10, 1948, she was united in marriage to Robert “Buck” Kuehne. He preceded her in death on January 1, 1998.

Doloris was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, where she was a member of Concordia.

She had incredible skills recording and organizing information, which made her the person in the family that everyone would go to for information. Doloris was an avid reader, enjoyed traveling, was a great cook, did beautiful needlework, and was a dog lover.

Doloris is survived by her daughters: Mary (Robert Petersen) Kuehne, Dayton, OH and Patricia Kuehne, Little Chute: two grandchildren: Kame (Matt) Erdman and Solomon Kuehne-Westerman; great-granddaughter, Kora Erdman; sister, Joan (Richard) Paul; and sister-in-law, Diann Ciesielczyk.

In addition to her husband, Doloris is preceded in death by her son, William; one brother, Robert “Chick” Ciesielczyk; and members of the Kuehne family.

Friends may call at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour on Friday, January 12, 2018 from 9:00 am until the funeral service at 11:00 am with Pastor Natalie Kramer-McComb officiating. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery. Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour is assisting the family with arrangements.
