Dianne Huettl

Dianne Huettl, age 77, joined her daughter, Tina, and son, Rick, in the arms of the Lord on Friday, August 22, 2025, at Woodside Manor in Green Bay. Dianne was born on August 1, 1948, in Green Bay, WI to the late LeVern and Marion Schmit.

She met the love of her life, Daniel F. Huettl and was united in marriage on September 23, 1967, celebrating 57 years of marriage. Dianne and Danny raised their three children, Tina, Gregg and Rick, in Seymour.

After retiring from M&I Bank, she supported her community and church through volunteering in many capacities. Dianne enjoyed watching sports, was a fan of the Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers and didn't miss watching any games. She enjoyed reading, her dart leagues, trips to the bingo hall and getting her nails done. She loved supporting her children and grandchildren's activities and interests, they were her pride and joy. Her home became a gathering place for family events, creating many memories.

She is survived by her husband Daniel F. Huettl; her son, Gregg (Sarah) Huettl of De Pere; her son-in-law (George) Scott Bertrand, De Pere; grandchildren: Justin Rose of Portland, TN, Ryan Diels of Green Bay, Daniel (Alison) Huettl of Kaukauna, Jennifer Huettl (Brock Noreen) of Horicon, Emily Bertrand (Tyler Steffens) of Eden Prairie, MN, Jaclyn Bertrand of LeSuer, MN and Hunter Bertrand of Green Bay. She is also survived by her sisters: Sally Abel and Sue Diermeier; brother, Tom (Betty) Schmit; sisters-in-law: Jeanne (Mike) Gritt, Marjorie Marcks and brother-in-law, Robert (Deborah) Huettl, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, Dianne was preceded in death by her father and mother-in-law, Francis and Eileen Huettl, daughter, Tina Bertrand; son, Richard (Rick) Huettl; sister, Nancy Brockman; brothers-in-law, Ron Abel and Steve Marcks; nephews: Rob Schmit and Nicholas (Nick) Liebergen.

Visitation will take place at St. John Catholic Church, Seymour on Friday, September 5, 2025 at 9 am until the Funeral Mass at 11 am with Fr. Sengole Dass and Deacon Rich Matuszak officiating.
