Dennis Cheslock

Dennis R. Cheslock, 73, of Seymour, passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2018, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born December 7, 1944, son of the Roman and Arline (Bishop) Cheslock.

He graduated from Seymour High School in 1963. Following graduation, Dennis served in the US Air Force for 22 years as a jet mechanic, having served two tours in the Vietnam war. He was a member of American Legion Post #106 in Seymour.

On December 27, 1971 he was united in marriage to Urai Chanpratien in Thailand.

He enjoyed riding his Harley’s, taking many motorcycle trips with Urai.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Urai; daughters: Linda Wendorff, Judy Sanders, and Arline (Mike) Thiel; father, Roman; siblings: Wayne (Lynn) Cheslock, Linda Diemel, and Michael Cheslock; 13 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandson. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Pauline; mother, Arline; and infant brother, Randy.

Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Monday, May 14, 2018 from 4:00 pm until the funeral service at 7:00 pm with Deacon Rich Matuszak officiating. Burial will take place in Elm Lawn Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed to Dennis’s family at www.muehlboettcher.com.
