Delores Leininger

Delores C. Leininger, 87, of Seymour passed away surrounded by her family on Saturday, January 19, 2019, at Good Shepherd Nursing Home.
She was born September 18, 1931, a daughter of the late Christ and Josephine (Sausen) Kleuskens.
On October 14, 1954, she was united in marriage to Marvin Leininger at St. Paul Catholic Church in Wrightstown. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church, Seymour.
Delores and Marvin operated a dairy farm together until their retirement. She was a member of the Seymour American Legion Auxilliary Post and volunteered for Community 2000.
She enjoyed baking and playing cards.
Delores is survived by her husband, Marvin; children: Suzanne Treml, Kathleen (Tim) Krause, Joseph (Linda) Leininger, and (Paul (Krissy) Leininger; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-granddaughter.
In addition to her parents, was preceded in death by a brother, John "Bud" (Mary) Kleuskens; sister, Marie (Alex) Van Der Heyden; sister-in-law, Marie (Bill) Kranzush; and son-in-law, Randy Treml.
Friend may call at St. John Catholic Church, Seymour, on Thursday, January 24, 2019, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Legion Auxilliary service at 7:15 and a parish prayer service at 7:30 pm. Visitation will continue at St. John Catholic Church, Seymour, on Friday, January 25, 2019, from 9:30 am until the funeral mass at 11:00 am with Fr. Brian Belongia and Deacon Rich Matuszak officiating. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Delores's memory to be contributed to her favorite causes.
