Dawn Giamarino of Seymour, Wisconsin passed away February 5, 2024 at home with loving family by her side. She was born October 19, 1959 to the late James and Erma (Braunsdorf) Schroeder.
Dawn grew up on a small farm in Gillett, Wisconsin. Here she developed her love of God, family, and horses. Her childhood was rich and full, with family always at the center and the source of great joy and pride.
Dawn is survived by her husband of 43 years, Edward William and their two sons: Benjamin David, Matthew James. Dawn and Edward found each other where they both attended college at the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point.
Dawn is further survived by her brother, Jerry and his wife Gail; brother, Denny and his wife Mary; brother, Randy; sister, Diane and her husband Jamie (Hubbard); uncles: Howard, Darrell; aunts: Dawn, Sandra; cousins: Karin, Jayne, John, Deb, Angie, Kevin; nieces and nephews: Kim, Alissa, Eric, Nick; and beloved kitty, Milo.
Dawn possessed a wonderful ability to empathize with the needs of others. This served her well throughout her career in various customer service and administrative positions. Her favorite job, however, was back in the 1980's where she lead horse trail rides for Kitch's Trail Rides outside of Lakewood, Wisconsin.
Dawn had a 25-year battle with an autoimmune disease called Scleroderma which then led to lung cancer. She endured more than her fair share of pain, yet through it all she never failed to grace us with her warm smile. We all loved her so much and will miss her dearly.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home from 4 p.m. until the time of the service at 6 p.m.
