Dallas J. Maass, 81, of the town of Seymour passed away peacefully at home surrounded by the family on Sunday, July 6, 2025. He was born on October 26, 1943 son of the late Alfred and Florence (Samson) Maass.
Dallas served in the US Army. Following discharge from the Army he farmed in the town of Seymour his whole life.
He was united in marriage to Patricia Nighorn Wrobleski on April 12, 1973 having celebrated over 52 years of marriage.
Dallas was very proud to be a dairy farmer, enjoyed his guns and hunting, and most of all loved his family.
Dallas is survived by his wife, Pat; children: Dallas Jr. (Monty) Maass, Lisa (Dennis) Heslip, Dan (Jen) Wrobleski, Tim Maass, Jim (Stacey) Wrobleski, Bill (Sarah) Wrobleski, Michelle (Rob) Richter, and Dawn (Tom) Everard; grandchildren: Mark (Rachael) Kraning, Scott (Katie) Kraning, Eric Kraning; Samantha (Brian) Doxtator; Dillon (Ally) Maass, Austin (Kate Felty) Maass, Preston Wrobleski, Rylee (fiance, Greg Simpson) Wrobleski, Kennedy Wrobleski, Josephine Wrobleski, Charlotte Wrobleski, Clarissa Wrobleski, Sally Wrobleski, Laura Lucas, Tara (Brandon) Hoffman, Paul (Brooke) Maass, Allison (Ben Wilmet) Marcks, Terry Marcks, Lance (Taylor) Richter, Connor Richter, Autumn Maass Everard, Alex (Hannah) Everard, Aubry (Joe) Dey, Aidan (fiance, Montana) Everard, and Ace Everard; 24 great-grandchildren and two more on the way. Further survived by sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Mary Jane (August) Tyczkowski, Darlene (Keith) Stamps, Betty (Keith) Burmeister, and Randy Gauthier; also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara; brother, Merle Maass; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Marvin and Althea Nighorn; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law: Judy (Elmer) Naumann, and Peggy Gauthier; nephew, Wade Gauthier.
Funeral services for Dallas will take place at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Cicero on Thursday, July 10, 2025 at 11am with full military honors to follow the service. Visitation will begin at 9am until the time of the service. Entombment will take place at Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum at Nicolet Memorial Gardens.
