Connie Baumgart

Connie S. Baumgart, 69, of Seymour passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home. She was born on March 11, 1956 daughter of the late Freeman "Bud" and Barbara Monfort.

Connie was united in marriage to James Baumgart on May 25, 1986 having celebrated nearly 39 years together.

Connie was a well-known waitress in the area for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandson, Logan. They would often go to rummage sales for treasures and had MANY other adventures.

She is survived by her husband, James; daughter, Amanda Verrier and grandson, Logan; son, Andrew Gaustad; daughter, Jody (Derek) Lund; siblings: Jeff (Yoo-kyeong) Monfort, Vicki (Chuck) Petersen, and Kristi Monfort-Moore; sister-in-law, Sandy DuChateau, uncle Carl (Fran) Monfort, and her children's grandmother, Patricia Gaustad. Also survived by nieces and nephews Matt (Carlie) Petersen, Annie (Chad) Swanson, Tony Petersen; Max and Allison Monfort; JD, Jake, and Audrey Moore; Sue (Bob) Brandt and Jill Hirschmann; cousins Cathy Rhode and Laurie Mesenbring; and life-long friends Cher Cofrin and Carol Plotkowski, and extended family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by son, Jeffery Baumgart; son-in-law, Jason Verrier; and brother-in-law, Marlin DuChateau.

A memorial visitation for Connie will take place at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Wednesday, May 28th, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Private burial will be held for Connie at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in Ashwaubenon.
