Charles Scott

Charles "Chuck" L. Scott, 69, Black Creek, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday, May 5, 2021. He was born on July 6, 1951, to the late Byron and Marion (Schwalbach) Scott. Chuck was united in marriage to Donna Rastall on October 8, 1977. He worked as a feed truck driver for over 30 years at Scenic Valley Cooperative until his retirement in 2017.

Chuck enjoyed fishing and camping. He meticulously maintained his lawn and he liked to sit on every lawn mower at Home Depot. Chuck found his peace at the cabin in Athelstane. His greatest passion was spoiling his grandchildren and his dog.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Scott; children: Chad Scott, Lacy Scott (Doug Nutt), and Cody (Jessica) Scott; two grandchildren: Kendra and Brady Scott; siblings: Nancy Nielson, Randy (Mary) Scott, Wendy (Kenny) Drath, Kelly Scott, Julie (Mike) Glatz, Connie (Jeff) Fischer, and Brenda (Rick) VandeCorput; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Steven (Karin) Rastall, Mary Jo Rastall, Karen Rastall, Linda (Roy) Lehrer, Lori (Mark) Wudtke, Carl Kleist, and Pat Scott; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; and his beloved pug, "Tubbers."

In addition to his parents, Chuck was preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law: George and Dorothy Rastall; one sister, Cindy Kleist; one brother, Lonnie Scott; two brothers-in-law: Keith Nielson and Wayne Rastall.

In accordance with Chuck's wishes, no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established. Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour is assisting the family with arrangements.
