Carol J Moes

Carol Jean (Herman) Moes, formerly of Nichols, passed away on November 2, 2026 at the age of 90. Carol was born on December 29, 1935 in Cicero, WI to Harvey and Lydia (Bartman) Herman.

Carol is survived by her children Betty (Ralph) Stapel, Darlene (Mark) Slade, Donna Moes, and Kenneth L (Karen) Moes; grandchildren Jamie Slade, Valerie (Jason) Hogue, Lauren (James) Andrews, Jeremy (Courtney) Slade, Adam (Becky) Stapel, Kyle (Katie) Moes; great grandchildren Hayley Slade, Amelia Hogue, Hannah Hogue, Aubree Stapel, Josephine Andrews, Alana Stapel, Molly Hogue, Willow Slade, Jack Andrews, Myla Moes, and Charlie Moes.

Carol is further survived by sisters-in-laws Nora Herman and Judy Olsen and numerous nieces and nephews.

Carol is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth A Moes, her parents Harvey and Lydia (Bartman) Herman, siblings Joyce (the late Lester) Timm, Eunice (the late Walter) Springstroh, Olive (the late Earl) Lecker, Leslie Herman and Orville Herman and in-laws Arlene (the late Ray) Ruechel, Eleanor (the late Vern and the Milton Wickesberg) Van Lane, Art (the late Virginia) Moes and Ken Olsen.

Funeral services for Carol will be held on Monday November 9, 2026 at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, at 12 noon with Pastor Moira Finley officiating. Visitation for Carol will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until the time of services. Private interment at Union Cemetery.

Carol's family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Meadow Wood for their care of Carol during her stay. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Meadow Wood in Carol's name are appreciated.
