Carol Herb

Carol Herb, age 82, passed away on Tuesday, October 28, 2025.

Carol was born on November 24, 1942 to the late Mearl and Lillian (Gomm) Allen. Carol was united in marriage to Raymond Herb on November 3, 1962. He preceded her in death on January 26, 1987.

She is survived by her children: Lisa Gunderson, Nancy (Paul) Vanden Heuvel, Amy (Andre) Guyette, Ron (Kim) Herb, Dave Herb , Heather (Robert) Herb, and Paul (Tina) Herb; 19 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren with two on the way; siblings Barbara Erb, and Diane (Augie) Frenche; in-laws Mary (Sam) Austin, Mary Herb, Jerry Herb, Grace Herb, and Charlie Herb. Further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Carol is preceded in death by her husband Raymond, her parents, grandson Dylan Herb, son-in-law Paul Gunderson, sisters Katheryn Dale Tubbs, Geraldine Young, Beverly (Vernon) Evenson, and Lew Erb, and in-laws Jack Herb, Anna Herb, Jim (Pat) Herb, Elaine Herb, and Gayle Herb.

Visitation will take place at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Navarino, on November 1, 2025 at 12:30 PM until the funeral mass at 3:00 PM with Fr. Don Zuleger officiating. Burial will take place at the parish cemetery.

Carol's family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Meadowood and Good Shepherd for their care shown to mom during her stay.

Carol's legacy of working hard on the farm, raising her family, being available for her friends, and still finding time to take joy in the small things is a gift that will live forever.
