Bridget Staley

Bridget M. Staley, passed away peacefully at her home on June 6, 2025 at the age of 75. Bridget was born in Minneapolis, MN on February 23, 1950 to Raymond McGivern and Sheila Mehigan.

Bridget was joined in marriage to Allyn Staley on July 17th, 1989. Bridget was proud of her Irish heritage. Bridget was a master gardener, and designed her home gardens. She also never missed an auction, and her knowledge of antiques was well known. Bridget and Allyn also spent time bird watching and feeding them in Bridget's gardens. They also enjoyed traveling together, including trips to Ireland, Germany and Austria.

Bridget is survived by her husband of 35 years, Allyn; children Matthew McBee (special friend Tammy), Alan McBee, Scott Staley, Greg Staley (special friend Kristi) and Karen (Dave) Weber; grandchildren Raylyn, Lynnex, Kora, Mason, and Nash. Further survived by her siblings Peggy (Peter) McGivern, Mary (Lou) McGivern, and James McGivern, and sister-in law Diane Beyer. Bridget is further survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and her furry friend Tigger.

Bridget is preceded in death by her parents, brother Patrick McGivern, and in-laws Elwyn and Ruth Staley.

Funeral services for Bridget will be held at St. John Catholic Church, Seymour, on Tuesday June 17, 2025 at 11:00 AM with Deacon Rich Matuszak officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:30 AM until the time of services. Bridget will be laid to rest privately at a later date.
