Betty Peters

Betty Mae Peters (Hock) passed away at the age of 80, on March 19, 2018. Betty was born on May 3, 1937 to Alexander and Beatrice (Jensen) Hock in Green Bay, WI. Betty married the love of her life, Seifred Peters Jr, on September 22, 1956.

The young couple resided in Seymour, WI at the family’s dairy farm. She loved spending time with her 13 grandchildren anytime she could. She also enjoyed playing cards, shopping, going to the casino, embroidering, vacationing in Florida, picking berries, taking countryside rides, and was an avid baker.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Seifred Peters Jr; children: Thomas, Kathryn (Thomas) Schmude, Judy (Marty) VanDenLangenberg, Lisa, Janet (Cyril) Roffers; grandchildren: Kevin (Holly), Alexander, Kristina (Travis), Steven (Mackenzie), Brittany, Alzada, Barry, Darcie, Wayne, Riley, Cassie, Haleigh, Kendra; great-grandson, Maverick; brothers: Jim (Barb) Hock, Ken (Ruth) Hock; sisters: Teena (Norbert) Rottier, Wendy (David) Vercauteren; brother-in-law, Donald (Jeanie) Peters; and sister-in-law, Martha Peters.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Alexander and Beatrice Hock; stepmother, Violet; brother, Roger Hock; sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Donald Beck; brother and sister-in-law, Milton and Rosella Peters; brother-in-law Randall Peters; and sister-in-law, Loretta Peters.

Friends may call at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour on Friday, March 23, 2018, from 9:00 am until the funeral service at noon with Pastor Roland Lindeman officiating. Entombment will take place in Allouez Mausoleum. Online condolences may be expressed to Betty’s family at www.muehlboettcher.com.
