Barbara Wilcox

Barbara Jean (Bishop) Wilcox, of Seymour, passed away on June 21, 2025 at the age of 93.

Barbara was born on July 27, 1931 in Berry Lake, WI to Walter and Margaret (Frank) Bishop. On October 6, 1951, she was united in marriage to the late Patrick Wilcox. They celebrated 55 years of marriage together.

Barbara worked for ACE Hardware for 13 years and worked at Northern Shoe for 21 years. She is a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Green Bay. Barbara enjoyed watching football and NASCAR races. But most of all, she cherished the time spent with her family.

Barbara is survived by her children: Robert Wilcox, Bonnie (Bruce) Neshek, Kris (Wayne) Birkholz, and Karolyn (Gary) Wied; grandchildren Clint (Andrea) Neshek, Jason (Heidi) Wilcox, Bridget (Adam) Oskey, Jamie (Tom) Wrobleski, Bobbie Jo (Ryan) Schmidt, Jennifer (MJ) Hintz, and Kari Cornelissen-Wied; 25 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren. Barbara is further survived by her sisters-in-law Dorothy Bishop, Noreen Somes, and Janet Sabanick.

Barbara is preceded in death by her husband Patrick Wilcox, her parents Walter and Margaret Bishop, brothers Larry (the late Mary Ann) Bishop, Robert Bishop, Donald (the late Violet) Bishop, and Richard (the late Eunice) Bishop

Funeral services for Barbara will be held at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, on Friday June 27th at 11:00 AM with Becky Kraft officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 9:00 AM until the time of services. Interment at Rose Lawn Cemetery.
