Barbara Crawford, age 82, passed away at her home on Saturday, July 26, 2025.
Barbara was born on August 2, 1942 to the late Albert Theobald and Margaret (Klapperick) on the family farm in Black Creek. She and her family grew up and worked the farm throughout her childhood.
Barbara was united in marriage to James Crawford on October 21, 1972. He preceded her in death on October 15, 2023.
She enjoyed running her daycare in her younger years. Barb loved spending time up north in Lake Tomahawk with family and friends. Barb also spent time playing cards, going to the casino, and cheering on her favorite sports teams. This included Packer games as a season ticket holder.
She is survived by her son, David and wife Jessica; four grandchildren: Alayna, Cashton, Bodhi, and Ophelia; siblings: Ruth Theobald, Pete (Pat) Theobald, Wilfred Theobald, Sylvester (Rita) Theobald, Kelly Theobald, Ray (Anita) Theobald, Carol Theobald; sisters-in-law: Barb Crawford, Sylvia (Mark) Matz; and one step-sister-in-law, Carolyn (Don) Seierstad. Barb is further survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Crawford; parents, Margaret and Albert Theobald; siblings: Jeanette Theobald, Norbert Theobald, Donald Theobald, Eugene Theobald; in-laws: Leo and Vivian Crawford, Lucy; brothers-in-law: Robert Crawford, and William Crawford; sister-in-law, Kay Crawford; nephews: Kevin and Doug Theobald.
Visitation will take place on Friday, August 1, 2025 at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Parish, Greenville from 10 am until the funeral mass at 12 pm, noon. Burial will take place at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Black Creek.
