Arlene Ossmann

Arlene F. Ossmann, 89, Seymour, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Saturday, February 26, 2022. She was born February 17, 1933, to the late Casper and Therese (Sigl) Matuszak. On February 3, 1951, she was united in marriage to Robert Ossmann. Robert preceded Arlene in death on December 21, 2016.

Arlene was a lifetime member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church in Isaar, where she belonged to Christian Mothers. Arlene and Robert, both born and raised on the farm, continued to farm until their retirement in 1979. They enjoyed traveling and their weekend getaways. Arlene also enjoyed playing Sheepshead, which brought many friendships over the years.

Survivors include her five children: Dan (Pam) Ossmann, Derald Ossmann, Debbie (Ron) Arndt; Dorothy (Chuck) Hein; Danette (Brian Lepianka) Ossmann; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by two children: Dennis and Charlene; one grandson: Jason; two great-grandchildren: Cody and Callista Jo; three brothers and four sisters.

Friends may call at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, Isaar, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, March 4, 2022, Fr Sengole Arockia Dass, O.Praem and Dcn. Richard Matuszak officiating. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery.
