Angela Robinson, Angela the name meaning 'messenger from God', age 49 of Appleton returned to the arms of our Lord on Sunday, October 19, 2025. She was the daughter of Mike Robinson and Mary Schaefer.
She was born on June 13, 1976, at Theda Clark Hospital where she was in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and through the grace of God she returned home to her parents and sister. Angie was a person with Downs Syndrome. But with Angie "Venit vidit vicit" - she came, she saw, God conquered. She was baptized into the tree of our Lord and later confirmed at twelve.
As a young child she enjoyed playing with friends and her sister Tammy. She loved the water and every year swam in lakes and the small pool provided by her family. She enjoyed camping. Angela was in dance with her sister and dressed as a skunk for a recital, the memory of which brings joy. She enjoyed the Special Olympics where she ran and was in gymnastics. As a member of the Youth Association for Retarded Citizens, she attended meetings and had many friends. Angie attended school, graduating from Kaukauna High School.
Angie was the most beautiful soul. She was always taking care of her loved ones, remembering birthdays and offering a Kleenex to someone upset. Angie loved her brothers Scott and Matt, who would make her laugh, carve pumpkins at Halloween and bake cookies with her. She enjoyed coloring with her stepdad Carl and her weekends spent at her sister's home. Angie enjoyed spending time at the cabin with her family, many outings, her dogs, especially Toto, her parakeet and was always with her best friend Olaf, who went everywhere with her. She loved music, dance, coloring, playing matching games, walks with her brother-in-law Dave, and the constant outings to the mall with her favorite niece Brooke. She enjoyed playing PS2 and Wii games with her niece and favorite nephew Zach. Some of her most loved movies were Frozen, ET, Wizard of Oz, and Harry Potter. Angie was a selfless soul. She was a jokester and would light up anywhere she went with her uplifting energy and contagious smile. Her spirit will live on with us and everyone she touched. She will be missed every day until we meet again in Paradise.
