Allen Timm

Jan 16, 1959 — Oct 22, 2026

Allen "Al" Timm age 67 of Seymour, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Al was born on January 16, 1959, to the late David and Frances (Griesbach) Timm. He graduated from Seymour Community High School in 1977 and went on to earn numerous certificates and advanced education in Agribusiness. On April 18, 1980, he was united in marriage to Jean Beyer. Together they raised their family on the Timm family farm in the Town of Osborn.

Al was a founding partner of United Ag and provided custom agricultural services to many farmers throughout the area. He dedicated his life to agriculture, community service, and helping others whenever he could.

Al lived a life of service. He joined the Town of Osborn Rural Fire Department in 1989 and faithfully served until his death, including 20 years as Fire Chief. He also served as a First Responder for 20 years. Al was a founding member of Seymour Home of the Hamburger and a member of both the Outagamie County Dairy Promotion and the Outagamie Forage Council. He was elected to the Town of Osborn Town Board serving as Supervisor from 2015-2021 and Chairman from 2021-2025.

Even during his battle with advanced prostate cancer, Al continued to think of others. In his final year, he participated in clinical trials to help advance cancer research and improve treatment options for future patients. In one last act of generosity and service, Al chose to donate his body to medical science at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.

Al enjoyed collecting and restoring antique tractors and was a lifelong member of the Fox Valley Two Cylinders Club and the Union Thresheree Club of Symco. He thoroughly enjoyed the friendships, knowledge, and camaraderie these organizations provided. He also inherited a love of model railroading from his father and Uncle Bob. As a member of the O Gaugers, Al created a remarkable train layout at home that brought him countless hours of enjoyment, especially during the winter months.

When his health began to decline, Al made a point of pursuing many items on his bucket list. One of his greatest joys was learning to play guitar and performing at Open Mic Nights with his good friend and mentor, Lil Pete. He also developed a passion for building and restoring scale-model pedal tractors and implements. Al often referred to these projects as his "therapy" and cherished the many hours spent working alongside friends and fellow enthusiasts.

Al is survived by his wife of 46 years, Jean; his children: Rebecca (Eric) Stephani, Cheri (Ryan) Klussendorf, and Eric (Erica) Timm; and his grandchildren: Isabella and Audriana Stephani, Kale, Owen, and Max Klussendorf, and Calyssa Timm. He is further survived by Marjorie Mehojah (Jordan); his siblings: Sally Timm (Art Gerrits), Ken (Joanne) Timm, and Kathy Timm; his sisters-in-law: Kim Letter, Traci Banker, and Tammy (Chad) McHugh; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, mother-in-law and father-in-law Audrey and Erwin Beyer and brother-in-law Jerome Banker.

Al wished to extend a special thank-you to all those who participated in his final ride on October 10, 2026. It was a beautiful day filled with love, laughter, friendship, and happiness, and it meant the world to him and his family.

The family would also like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the many friends and family members who generously provided transportation to and from treatments and offered unwavering support throughout Al's journey. As well as those at the ThedaCare Regional Cancer Center who helped Al keep fighting through the years.

In accordance with Al's wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. Instead, family and friends are encouraged to honor his memory by participating in the annual tractor ride each fall, celebrating the passions, friendships, and community spirit that defined his life.
